DRIVEN YOUTH MINISTRY

Driven youth ministry enables students grades 6 to 12 to grow in their faith through worship, study, service and fun. It is an opportunity to experience Christian community and is a safe place for students to express their faith and their questions.

Sunday Morning

Students sit together during the 9:00 am worship, then attend class during the second service at 10 am. Class meets in the youth room, located behind the kitchen on the lower level.

Sunday Night

Students gather from 6 to 8 pm, starting in the fellowship hall with a home cooked meal. The evening continues with games, music, prayers and a lesson. Sometimes, the students will do a mission project or attend a special event during this time.

Confirmation

This year, confirmation will take place mostly on Sunday mornings. In addition to class times, there will be several field trips and growth experiences. The class will conclude with the opportunity for students to profess their faith and become members of the congregation.

Mission Trip

Each summer, Driven hits the road to serve others in a different place. The week-long mission trip has gone to places such as Cincinnati, Nashville and New York City. This year’s trip will be to Pittsburg, PA June 28-July 1.

Serving

Students are encouraged to serve the church and community where they are gifted. Students can be found assisting in children’s ministry, singing in the praise band and helping with technology needs
